Frankish Bronze Radiate-Headed Brooch
CIRCA 5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
2 7/8 in. (13.6 grams, 72 mm).
Comprising a D-shaped headplate with knop finial, deep carinated bow, leaf-shaped foot with pointed and and slight carination; catch and pierced spine to reverse to accept a hinged pin.
