NAPOLEON FRANCORUM IMPERATOR ET ITALIAE REX ★, laureate head of Napoléon to left; T•MERCANDETTI•F•R•MDCCCX beneath truncation / XII•KAL•APRIL •MCCMXI, Mars, floating in a cloud, giving the child to Minerva, who is sitting in front of Trajan's Column inscribed: SENATVS.POP IMP. CAESAR TRAIANO. A MAX.TRIB. P. AD. DECLA MONS. ET. I.; at her side, Romulus, Remus and the she-wolf; above, eagle with spread wings holding olive branch in beak and thunderbolt in its talons, behind, the Colosseum on the left, the temple of Concordia inscribed: SQVE. ROMANVS VM. RESTITVIT in two lines on the right; ••••••••••••• AVREA CONDET SAECVLA QVIR VRSVS LATIO in two lines in exergue; ••T•MERCANDETTI•F•ROMAE••• below. Edge inscription: COPIE.
