INDIA, 20TH CENTURY A.D.
15 x 11 7/8 in. (905 grams, 38 x 30 cm).
Depicting a hunt scene, composed of a prince riding a horse embroiled in a violent clash with a wild boar, the prince holding a bow and reins in his left hand, spearing the boar with a sword held in his left, quiver and shield attached to his belt; mounted in a reveal and a glazed wooden frame.
