The group comprising: a 1960s FAB Hardy's Sheffield coal miners pickaxe with an ash wood shaft; a 1950s/1960s Patent pulp Thetford helmet fitted with a late 19th/ early 20th century Premier Acetylene brass miners helmet lamp, together with copies of the birth and death certificates of the lamp's former owner.
