English Medieval Coins - Edward IV - London - Muled Marks Heavy Coinage Groat 1461-1464 A.D.
First reign, heavy coinage, group I. Obv: facing bust with lis on breast and pellet each side of crown within tressure with EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRAN legend with 'cross fleury' mintmark. Rev: long cross and pellets with extra pellet in 2nd and 4th quarters and POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM and CIVITAS LONDON legends for London mint with 'lis' mintmark. Near extremely fine. Rare.(3.64 grams.).
