Fourth coinage, pre Treaty, series E. Obv: king standing facing in ship holding sword and shield with E DWARD DEI GRA REX AIIGL Z FRAIIC D HY B legend with saltire stops and annulet before. Rev: floriate cross with crown-over-lion in angles and small 'E' at centre with IHC AVTEM TRAIICIEIIS P MEDIVM ILLOR IBAT legend. Very fine; some mint bloom to flan, minor scuffs to surfaces.(7.69 grams.).
