Engraved on a host Victorian penny dated 1889, to the edge: E.ARBUTHNOT., with 20 NOV 1913 in three lines to the centre; which could refer to several individuals, including the novelist E. Arnot Robertson (real name Eileen Arbuthnot Robertson Turner), the artist Mary E. Arbuthnot, or the businessman and optometrist Edward Victor Arbuthnot. 9.23gr, 32mm, 10h.
