Chester mint. Ælfric, moneyer. Cross in Quatrefoil type (BMC II). ✠ PILLELM REX, crowned facing bust, holding sword / ✠ IELFRIC ON LECST, cross pattée within quatrefoil with pellets in angles. North 852; SCBC 1259. 1.12gr, 20mm, 6h.

Good Fine. Wavy flan. Exceedingly rare and apparently unique with this moneyer at Chester.
