Emblem of The Qajar Dynasty in Frame
LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY A.D.
21 7/8 x 23 in. (2.76 kg, 55.5 x 58.7 cm).
Painted on a fine linen twill ground: wreath with two advancing lions armed with swords, sun-in-splendour to the rear of each, standing on a scroll supported by putti with central globe; jewelled crown above; in a glazed wooden frame with suspension rings to reverse. [No Reserve]
