ELIZABETHAN GOLD SIGNET RING WITH I E
16TH CENTURY AD
3/4" (5.18 grams, 21.4mm overall, 19.07mm internal diameter (approximate size British R, USA 8 1/2, Europe 18.75, Japan 18)).

A D-section gold hoop with expanding shoulders, discoid bezel with beaded border, initials 'I E' over a looped entwined ribbon with a tassel to each end.

PROVENANCE:
Ex Reverend Dyer collection; Leicestershire, UK; previously found Cambridgeshire, UK, and recorded with the British Museum in the 1980s.
