Comprising three ancient Egyptian style artefacts after the antique: a copper-alloy sphinx statuette; a stone lion statuette; a cartonnage fragment with textile to the outer face and printed friezes applied to the interior. [3, No Reserve]

With elaborate scrolled foliage detailing to the hoop, each shoulder with a scroll with legend 'MARY' and '1756 AD'; cup bezel with fluted underside, inset triangular diamond. 3.70 grams, 21.62 mm overall, 16.64 mm internal diameter (approximate size British M, USA 6, Europe 12.46, Japan 12)
Acquired in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Important North West London collection. This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by search certificate no.11983-210473. -
