Egyptian Cream Glazed Shabti
NEW KINGDOM, 1550-1070 B.C.
5 3/4 in. (142 grams, 14.8 cm).
Modelled with a rounded wig and sidelock; painted brown detailing to the eyes, lips, collar and agricultural tools held in the crossed hands; painted vertical panel to lower body with hieroglyphic legend; chipped at sidelock, lower legs repaired.

Acquired on the UK art market, 1990s.
