Eastern Medieval Ring with Figure
15TH CENTURY A.D.
1 in. (3.82 grams, 24.83 mm overall, 20.18 mm internal diameter (approximate size British V, USA 10 1/2, Europe 23.77, Japan 22)).
Comprising a slender hoop and a lentoid-shaped bezel with an incuse nude figure, standing with the weight on one leg and resting the bent elbow on the raised leg. [No Reserve]

Footnotes
These kind of rings, possibly used as signet rings, find their parallels with artefacts from Eastern Europe, especially in the area of Smederevo. Comparison elements support a date of the 15th century A.D.

A circular bezel with a stylised flower decoration is soldered onto a thin ribbon-shaped link, which is flat on the inside and has two grooves on the outside. The style of the bezel decoration is Western Medieval, although the ring’s style finds parallels in specimens of Eastern Europe. -
