CIRCA 18TH-19TH CENTURY A.D.
4 3/8 in. (66 grams, 11 cm).
Formed with three horizontal bands, central figure of crucified Jesus; a pair of angels, dove and Jahve to the upper part; legend in azbuka on both faces. [No Reserve]

In the 19th century, many studies of the hunter goddess were inspired by the 'Diana of Versailles', a 2nd-century Roman version in the Greek tradition of iconography, today in the collection of the Louvre Museum, Paris, France. -
