Irregular fragment of sedimentary rock with six short lines of carefully incised calligraphic text; mounted on a custom-made stand. [No Reserve]
ProvenancePreviously in the private collection of Joseph Knopfelmacher (1923-2019), a collector of Saharan artefacts, acquired by at least 1995.

One series of arrowheads seems to belong to the category of lanceolate head and rounded shoulders from the category Type V, i.e. triangular arrowheads with rounded or angular midrib. Some other arrowheads seem to be a subcategory of subtype A of Khorasani, but longer. -
