Dogon Kanaga Wooden Mask
20TH CENTURY A.D.
40 1/8 in. (2.6 kg, 102 cm high).
The upper part made from timber laths joined with twine and with painted sections; the head carved with carination and two sockets with square holes, hollow to the reverse with transverse mounting bar; applied woven fabric mantle and open netting to reverse. [No Reserve]
