Constantinople mint. ∂ N CONSTAN-[TI]NЧS P P AVI (AV ligate), diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust to right / VICTORIA AVςЧS, cross potent; CONOB below. DOC 45; cf. MIB 50 (semissis; same obverse die) and 51-52 (tremissis reverse type); SB 984. Near Extremely Fine. Combination of dies from different denominations (obverse/semissis & reverse/tremissis).(1.43gr, 17mm, 7h.).

Note from Sear, p. 206: The semissis and tremissis have the same legends and types as those of Constantine IV. No definite distinction can be made between them, but as a general rule those of Constans are better engraved and of neater production, whilst those of his son tend to be of cruder style, lower relief and inferior workmanship.
