RIC III 212; RSC 555 bis; BMCRE 281. Good Very Fine. Toned with gold iridescence around devices.(3.19gr, 18mm, 6h.).

Aureolus was an extraordinarily capable general who served under Valerian and Gallienus. He revolted against Gallienus in AD 267, who sieged him in the city of Mediolanum (Milan) where these coins were struck. -
