Anglo-Saxon Coins - Coenwulf - East Anglia / Lul - Quatrefoil Penny Circa 798 A.D.
Obv: profile bust right with +COENVVLF REX M legend starting at 10 o'clock and with Mercian 'M' at end. Rev: beaded cross within quadrilobe with + L V L in angles with pellet rosettes around. Good very fine. Rare.(1.29 grams.).
