Chinese Yue Ware Style Zoomorphic Vessel
20TH CENTURY A.D.
8 1/4 in. (1.97 kg, 21 cm long).
Modelled as the body of a crouching animal, the handle in the form of a slender lion crouching behind the vessel's wide gaping mouth; celadon glazed in Jin Dynasty (265-420 A.D.) style.
Provenance
London collection since the 1980s.
