Chinese Yue Kiln Style Celadon Animal Vessel
20TH CENTURY A.D.
8 5/8 in. (1.97 grams, 22 cm wide).
Formed as a standing quadruped with incised detailing to the shoulders and hips, the broad neck developing to a spout with gusseted rim; handle formed as a stylised feline attacking the beast with claws sunk into the flanks and mouth open ready to bite the neck. [No Reserve]
