Chinese Tang Terracotta Court Lady with Child

TANG DYNASTY, 618-907 A.D.

17 in. (3.8 kg, 43 cm).

Hollow-formed female figure wearing long robes tied at the chest, elaborate high coiffure; right hand emerging from the long sleeve of her chang'ao, the other extending to a small female child standing at her left knee.

Private collection, Hong Kong, acquired in the 1990s-2000s.
Private collection, London, acquired in the 2000s.

Accompanied by an original thermoluminescence analysis report no.C125k84 by Oxford Authentication.
This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by a search certificate number no.12882-240557.
