Rectangular silk fabric panel with embroidered scene of two potentates standing wearing long robes, each supporting a balustered vessel in one hand; applied borders with discoid and heganal studs with tinned central panel; mounted on a later fabric backing with suspension fittings.
PROVENANCE:
From an early 20th century collection, Paris, France.
Exhibited at the Silk Road Exhibition, Piccadilly, London W1, held in 2001.
