Chinese Jianyao Hare's Fur Tea Bowl
SONG DYNASTY, 960-1279 A.D.
5 in. (341 grams, 12.6 cm wide).
Of conical form, with inverted rim and discoid foot, the interior and exterior decorated with a lustrous blackish glaze shot through with streaks of 'hare's fur' markings, the exterior with the brown ware visible towards the foot, chip to rim. [No Reserve]
