Chinese Green Stone Lidded Lion Vessel
20TH CENTURY A.D.
8 5/8 in. (2.37 kg, 22 cm wide).
In the form of a stylised lion in crouching pose with the paws tucked beneath the body and tail extended along the spine; reserved flame motifs to the hips and shoulders, incised collar with knot; separate lid forming the head with open mouth and prominent teeth.

French collection, 1990s-early 2000s.
