Chinese Archaic Style Bronze Vessel
20TH CENTURY A.D.
16 in. (3.3 kg, 40.5 cm high).
Kettle with rounded oblate body and swept trumpet-shaped neck, carinated flared base; circumferential decorative bands to the base, lower body and shoulder; heavy chains to the sides securing the flattened-dome lid to lateral staples on the shoulders and extending to a flat carrying handle. [No Reserve]
