Celtic Trinovantes - Addedomaros - Wheel / X in Box Below Horse - Mule Gold Quarter Stater

1st century BC. Obv: opposed crescents with pellets and lines. Rev: horse right with straight legs and X in box below three-limbed symbol above and ADDEDOMAROS legend. Near as struck. Extremely rare, possibly unique.(1.11 grams.).

Footnotes

This interesting coin is a mule with the obverse of the Wheel type and the reverse a variant of the X box type (without pellet above box).
