Celticized male head to right / YLLYCCI, bird standing to left, two pellets within wings; above, pentagram and cross with pellets; to right, two(?) pellet-in-annulets. Cf. D&T 2635; cf. LT 7493. Extremely Fine.(3.14gr, 15mm, 12h.).

    Near Extremely Fine. Reverse warrior superbly displayed, clear spear and inscription, all letters visible.

    From Chris Rudd footnote: Verica Cavalry Duo is the only Ancient British coin which shows two cavalrymen, one on each side. Verica must have been proud of his mounted knights. A Scarce type of great historical interest because it shows how military horsemen of this period were equipped.
