Celtic Iron Age Coins - Corieltauvi - Dumnocoveros Tigirseno - Gold Stater 25-50 AD

Obv: vertical wreath with DV to left and M[N] to right; three-armed spiral-in-annulet lower left and upper right and ring of pellets around annulet lower right and upper left. Rev: horse left with pellet trefoil before with TIGIR above and [S]ENO below. 5.07 grams.

Extremely fine; near as struck. Rare.

Ex East Riding Hoard, Yorkshire, UK, 2014.

Recorded under the Portable Antiquities Scheme, reference YORYM-953E38 (with record printout); disclaimed under the Treasure Act, 1996, reference: 2014 T212 (with copy of British Museum letter).
