Copying a Roman Republican semis issue. Obv: laureate bust of Saturn right with S behind. Rev: galley prow right with S above and ROMA below. Good very fine.(5.76 grams.).

A good quality copy of a Republican denarius of 149 BC by a Celtic hand; the main difference being the erroneous spelling of the moneyer name as NATATA (or NATAAT) in place of the normal NATTA. -
