Celtic Iron Age Coins - Catuvellauni - Agr- Horse Gold Quarter Stater 35-43 AD

Obv: corn ear without central stalk with [CA]M to left and CVN to right. Rev: horse rearing right with AGR below. Extremely fine; arguably the finest known example. Excessively rare (only four others recorded).(1.37 grams.).

The Brodie Hall, Kent, UK, collection; acquired Chris Rudd (with envelope and ticket); found near Stowmarket, Suffolk, 2009.
