Laureate head to left / Horned horse to left, with S-shaped tail. Gäumann 72; LT 5390. Very Fine.(2.67gr, 17mm, 3h.).

Near Extremely Fine. Reverse warrior superbly displayed, clear spear and inscription, all letters visible.

From Chris Rudd footnote: Verica Cavalry Duo is the only Ancient British coin which shows two cavalrymen, one on each side. Verica must have been proud of his mounted knights. A Scarce type of great historical interest because it shows how military horsemen of this period were equipped. -
