Celtic Britannia. Iceni AR Half Unit. Circa AD 1-43. Stickman Boar type.
Stylised boar to right, spear in front, pellet below / Horse to right, short dashes for mane, ringed-pellet above; 'stickman' below. ABC 1624; Van Arsdell 661; BMC 3517-20; EV -; SCBC 437. Near Extremely Fine. Bold stickman. Rare.(0.22gr, 9mm, 6h.).

Chris Rudd's footnote: 'Our so-called 'stickman' is of course a five-pointed star. This is a really sharp example and extraordinarily light in weight. Indeed it is only a quarter of the weight of a full silver unit. Maybe we should call it a 'minim' rather than a half unit?'
