Celtic Britannia. Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, Andoco AR Unit. Circa 20-1 BC. Pegasus type.
Male head to left, with beaded beard and droopy moustache, A behind, within interlaced vine border / Winged horse with bridle rein flying to left, AND-O-C-O around. ABC 2721; Van Arsdell 1868-3; BMC 2018; SCBC 264. Very Fine. Chipped. Boldly struck in lightly toned silver, with both head and Pegasus well displayed.(1.15gr, 14mm, 10h.).
