Celtic Britannia. Atrebates and Regni, Verica AR Unit. Circa AD 10-40. Verica Cavalry Duo type.
COM[MIF], warrior on horse to right holding oval shield / VERI-CΛ, warrior on horse to right holding spear. ABC 1238; Van Arsdell 530-1; SCBC 133. Near Extremely Fine. Reverse warrior superbly displayed, clear spear and inscription, all letters visible.(1.28gr, 12mm, 3h.).

From Chris Rudd footnote: Verica Cavalry Duo is the only Ancient British coin which shows two cavalrymen, one on each side. Verica must have been proud of his mounted knights. A Scarce type of great historical interest because it shows how military horsemen of this period were equipped.
