Carausius, Romano-British Emperor BI Antoninianus. Circa AD 287-288. Uncertain mint.
IMP CAR[...] AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right / PAX [AVG], Pax standing facing, head to left, holding branch in her right hand and transverse sceptre in her left. Cf. RIC 895; cf. RIC V.5 1297(l). Very Fine. Attractive olive green patina.(4.88gr, 19mm, 6h.).
