Calligraphic Carnelian Gem in Gilt Silver-Coloured Metal Pendant
LATE 20TH CENTURY A.D.
1 3/4 in. (31 grams, 44 mm).
The ornate setting presenting a polished carnelian panel inscribed with calligraphic Arabic text over three lines, pierced geometric flower to reverse, possible marker's marks in comma-shaped cartouches; articulate decorative bail to top edge. [No Reserve]
