2 5/8 in. (80 grams, 66 mm).
Rectangular with pierced lug to the reverse; rectangular design with text 'XAPO / ETA'.

From the private collection of the late Mr S.M., London, UK, 1969-1999; thence by descent.

Cf. similar in the collection of the British Museum under accession no.1875,1012.1, with text also executed dextrograde (not reversed).
Footnotes
The legend should have been written in reverse for a stamp; it may have been a blundered legend by the workman.

The vessel was probably part of a gift given by a certain Michail Demetrios to an officer of (ΥΠΑΤΙΚΟΥ) i.e. Consularis Rank. The shape recalls that of small tripods stands. -
