BYZANTINE LEAD PENDANT WITH VIRGIN AND CHILD
6TH CENTURY A.D.
1 in. (3.65 grams, 27 mm).

Discoid bifacial plaque with low-relief ornament: obverse - Mary Theotokos with infant Jesus inside a billeted border; reverse - reserved cross with pellets in the spandrels and pellets to the border.

Private collection.
Private European collection, 2002.
