Byzantine Iconographic PB Seal. Circa 6th-7th century AD.
Bust of the Mother of God, facing, nimbate, wearing chiton and maphorion; before her, the infant Christ with nimbus; in field left and right, cross / Cruciform monogram. For a seal with a similar monogram, see Laurent, Orghidan 636 ('Megas'). Good Fine.(6.04gr, 18mm, 12h.).
