Byzantine Circular AE Commercial Weight of Three Unciae. Circa 6th century AD.

Engraved in outline (and partially inlaid in silver) Γo Γ, cross above; all within wreath / Blank. Cf. Bendall, Weights 116. Condition as seen. A discoid commercial weight with centering holes and a plain edge between two grooves.(80.57gr, 40mm.).

From the private coin collection of a West London, UK, gentleman, formed since the mid 1980s.
