ISLAMIC BRONZE OPENWORK LAMP STAND
12TH CENTURY AD
25 1/4" (4.1 kg, 64 cm).

A substantial cast lamp stand comprising: a hexagonal-section shaft with bulbs top and bottom, openwork panels; discoid base with domed centre and three splayed feet, openwork scrolls between; discoid tray with raised rim and chamfered edge.

PROVENANCE:
From a London collection formed between 1990-2000.
