British Viking - Alfred 'Imitation' - Two Line Penny - Sinun

898-915 AD. Obv: small cross with +EL FR ED RE legend. Rev: legend in two lines SINVN NEFEL for the moneyer Simon with single pellet at centre and two trefoils of pellets at ends between, plus a line and pellet above the VN of the top line. Extremely fine; about as struck.(1.25 grams.).
