RAF WWII Aircraft Life Raft Signalling Kite in Original Sock

Comprising a yellow canvas pouch, metal poles and fabric sails. 460 grams, sock: 51.5 cm
Acquired on the UK art market. Property of an Essex militaria collector.
This was a RAF issue kite for connecting to 'Gibson Girl' AN/CRT-3B radio set when downed at sea and needing a long, vertical wire antenna. -
German WWI Kaiserliche Marine Naval Officer's Frock Coat
1914-1918 A.D.Sold for (Inc. bp): £234
Dark blue fabric knee-length overcoat with satin lining, black velvet stand-and-fall collar with hook-and-eye closure, twelve gilt buttons to the front with Kriegsmarine insignia and seven more to the false closure and half-belt on the rear, two lateral slit pockets with covers; shoulder-boards / epaulettes with insignia for Kapitän-Leutnante and the anchor-and-propellor motif for an engineer. 2.23 kg, 121 cm long

Anglo-Zulu War Artefacts from the Battle of Khambula

Four poison bottles recovered from a British dump, comprising three in blue glass and one in green, two with 'NOT TO BE TAKEN' impressed to one side. 246 grams total, 7.1-14.5 cm
Found by local Zulu people living at Khambula, South Africa, 1990s-early 2000s. Ian Wilkinson collection, Nottinghamshire, UK, formed since 1985.
The battle resulted in a heavy defeat for the Zulus, who had been full of confidence from their earlier victories against the British at Isandlwana and Hlobane.
