British Medieval Knight's Enamelled Gilt-Bronze Mount with Blue Heraldic Lion
CIRCA 1200-1400 A.D.
1 3/4 in. (25.8 grams, 44 mm).
Scallop-shaped with a sub-triangular expansion to the upper edge, the scalloped area bears gules fretty topped by azure quadruped left in the sub-triangular portion; integral spike projects from the centre of the reverse. [No Reserve]

Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Rylstone, North Yorkshire, UK, circa 2018.
Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.YORYM-A8F5F0.
