Rev: LONDON BRIDGE above view of bridge with OPENED BY / H M QUEEN ELIZABETH II / IN THE PRESENCE OF / THE Rt Hon THE LORD MAYOR / THE LORD MAIS / OBE ERD TD DSc C Eng / 16th MARCH 1973 in seven lines below. Edge: with incuse issue number 1148 and impressed Birmingham hallmark with 'x' date letter. and 'TK&S maker mark. Daily Telegraph Royal Academy of Arts silver Pompeii Exhibition medal. Obv: naked male figure advancing right holding club and bow, dog before with At the Royal Academy London 1976-1977 legend. Rev: standing figure of Pan playing pipes with sack hung on tree right and POMPEII AD 79 / Exhibition in two lines left.
