10 1/4 x 8 1/2 in. (3.15 kg, 26 x 21.5 cm).
Welsh language bible with heavy boards, original leather binding with stamped and tooled ornament to both covers; inside front cover with pasted note listing births of children to David and Margaret Davies from 1856 1869 with subscript 'Mary Davies Corffenaf 23 1875' (i.e. 23rd July); numerous pencilled notations and calculations; separate first leaf with multiple signatures by David Davies'; loose leaf dated 1838 with prayers; church service paper for Eglwys Moriah, New York for 1919; private letter dated 9th January 1920 requesting the price of a bible; numerous other loose leaves with calculations and private correspondence. [No Reserve]
