Anglo-Scandinavian Viking Bronze Stirrup Apex Mount with Diagonal Cross
11TH CENTURY A.D.
1 5/8 in. (22.6 grams, 43.2 mm).
Lozenge-shaped with gusseted lattice and raised pellets to the body, pierced lobe above to accept a ferrous rivet, ledge to reverse. [No Reserve]

Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Willingham, South Cambridgeshire, UK, on Sunday 1st September 2024.
Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.SF-0A3B9D.
