c. 787-792 AD. Light Coinage, Group II. Two Line Obverse Type. Obv: OFFA with chevron-barred A over REX and separated by line of pellets with forked ends with various pellets in the field. Rev: moneyer name in two lines ADEL PALD for Aethelweald divided by line of pellets with cross ends with chevron-barred A and various pellets in the field. Rare. 1.19 grams.
