Anglo-Saxon Edward the Elder - Eadmund - Two Line Penny

899-924 AD, BMC type ii. Obv: small cross with +EADWEARD REX legend. Rev: three small crosses at centre with trefoil of pellets at top and bottom dividing EADMV NDMO legend with contraction line above MO for the moneyer Eadmund. Very fine, some surface flan cracking. Scarce.(1.56 grams.).
